The Pella Opera House has long been the premier Pella location for memorable events, including weddings, wedding receptions, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, meetings, parties, conferences and workshops.  Consider hosting your next event at the Pella Opera House!  

Our event rooms offer a timeless-yet-sophisticated atmosphere for intimate gatherings or large scale events.  The Great Hall can comfortably seat up to 250 guests for meal events in round, square or rectangular tables.  We consider Central College our in house caterer; however, we’ll be happy to match your dining needs with the perfect catering partner.  The Opera House maintains a liquor license, and we can work with you to address all of your refreshment needs.  The comfortable Great Hall is 2800 square feet and measures 80’ by 30’.  

Located on the second and third floors of our building, the Theatre can accommodate 324 guests in comfortable, restored theatre-style seating.  Sight lines are uninterrupted, assisted hearing devices are available, and the facility can support nearly any small-to-medium scale production.  Our stage measures 19"6" wide by 28' deep; however, wing space is limited.  Our Theatre is equipped with high quality sound reinforcement equipment, flexible lighting, high-speed internet access, video projection capability, a Yamaha concert grand piano, a magnificently restored Barton Theatre Organ, and full technical support from our staff.
