Tulip Time in Pella!

Tulip Time is just around the corner. We’re looking forward to the return of the Matt Barber Experience on Thursday and Friday, May 2 and 3. And on Saturday, May 4, get your tickets for Jara Johnson: Singer and Songwriter at our 4 pm show! In addition to great shows at 4 pm, join us in the Martini Huis from 1:30-7:30 pm each day of Tulip Time in our second floor balcony. It’s a great place to take a rest from all the activities and enjoy one of our specialty martinis — my favorite is the Happy Tulip (it’s a lemondrop martini!). Each morning at 10 am, we offer The Reluctant Pioneer — The Story of Maria Scholte in the Great Hall. It’s a wonderful show featuring the history of Pella’s Dutch founders. Two weeks after Tulip Time on May 17 (rain date May 18) brings a new special event to Pella — It’s Opera House Outdoors! We’re hosting three musical groups on a stage in front of the Pella Opera House, plus a DJ, special line dancing opportunities and great food! You can visit the awesome downtown eateries, like George’s, Dutch Fix, Butcher’s Brewhuis, or Smokey Row, to name just a few, or take advantage of great food trucks on Franklin Street — Amos Eatzz, Triple B Tenderloins, Taco Jalisco and the amazing Jersey Freeze Ice Cream stand! The fun starts at 4:30 and continues til 10:30. Join us for a great time on the 600 block of Franklin Street.
